The Automobile Club of Monaco held the first historic grand prix in May 1997. The event has since become a biannual race held one week before the Formula One grand prix.

The Italian red of Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo, French racing blue for Talbot, Bugatti and Gordini and British racing green of Lotus, Cooper and BRM. The color, speed and excitement, melodic exhausts and smell of burnt castor oil, is a sight very rich in racing history. The racing of these wonderful machines, are as close and competitive as it ever was.
